Colorless or light yellow liquid, boiling point 194-198°C, relative density ( 25°C) l.032g/ml, refractive index n/0 I .506-1.51, flash point 61°C, melting point < 0°C. lt’s a pharmaceutical intermediate, slightly harmful to water. It is stable at normal temperature and pressure, avoid contacting oxide water and reactive metals. It can be stored in dry environment, keep container sealed and in a dry place.

【Usage】 Dimethylphenylchlorosilane is a very important Sterically hindered silane. Its steric hindrance is large, and its derivants are more stable than trimethyl ether under acid and alkali conditions. It is widely used in the synthesis of simvastatin, enteka and other drugs, and has a great development prospect and application space.
